I love stories like Sarah and Matt's; When something that starts off so seemingly random, ends up changing your life forever...
It was summertime here on Vancouver Island when they first met, and Sarah's sister Elise had asked her last minute to come along to Protection Island for the day for some volleyball under the bright blue sky and warm golden sun, and maybe some drinks afterwords at the nearby Dinghy Dock Pub.
Matt, originally from Quebec, also happened to be heading back over to Protection Island, when he saw a bunch of people playing a fun game of Volleyball. He wondered over to check it out...and that's when he saw her.
It was like a magnet drew them both together, and they instantly began gravitating towards one another.
Being around Sarah and Matt, with their 5 month old ADORABLE baby boy, has me convinced that they still feel just as crazy about eachother as they did on that day. Even more so. They have that type of excited, deep, true connection that everyone in the room can feel. I love it. Almost as much as I loved being a part of it :)

It was a cold, wet and gray February day...but the softness outside set the perfect mood for the romantic, intimate, Sunday afternoon wedding at the panoramic ocean view home belonging to Sarah's grandparents.
We were warm inside, cozy and comfortable...sharing laughs, tears, and love...
Sarah and Matt, I am at a loss for words to describe what it meant for me to be a part of such an intimate and beautiful affair. You made me feel right at home, like I was one of the few family members and close friends invited to celebrate the joining of an amazing couple and their beautiful baby boy. Sarah, our private conversation towards the end of the day was one of the most special I have had with any bride. I felt we made a connection that will last whether our friendship continues or not. You are a beautiful soul and I completely understand why our mutual friend Shelly loves you so much. Thank you thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart <3
